"I met Teresa in April 2020 because I was struggling to find sustainable employment. I didn’t have a trade or a lo of Canadian work experience. Teresa helped me write a better resume and recommended me for labor jobs. I landed a position, but unfortunately, lost the job in my second month of employment, because of Covid-19. Teresa supported me in my decision to attend trades training to better my chances of getting sustainable employment. I was able to get WorkBC sponsorship for Electrician Foundation training, with the support of Teresa, who provided a recommendation and pledged to help me find employment once training was complete. Immediately upon completion in June 2021, Teresa helped me secure an Electrical Apprentice position and STEP provided the tools and tickets required to get started. I am so thankful to Teresa and the STEP program, I can proudly say I now have a career." Lubosi Litia another satisfied STEP participant! Learn more: http://stepbc.ca
